The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.9.1, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 1 of Madhya-khanda chapter 9—“The Lord’s Twenty-One Hour Ecstasy and Descriptions of Shridhara and Other Devotees’ Characteristics”.

গৌর-নিধি কপট সন্ন্যাসী-বেশ-ধারী অখিল-ভুবন-অধিকারী ॥ ১ ॥
गौर-निधि कपट सन्न्यासी-वेश-धारी अखिल-भुवन-अधिकारी ॥ १ ॥
gaura-nidhi kapaṭa sannyāsī-veśa-dhārī akhila-bhuvana-adhikārī || 1 ||
gaura-nidhi kapata sannyasi-vesa-dhari akhila-bhuvana-adhikari (1)
English translation:
(1) All glories to Gaura, the Lord of the entire universe, who disguised Himself by wearing the dress of a sannyāsī!
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Śrī Gaurasundara is the Lord of the fourteen worlds. In order to teach the people of this world, He gave up all kinds of worldly enjoyment and displayed the qualification of a human being by accepting the dress of a renunciant.
