The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.279, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 279 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.279:

যেন মহা-রাস-ক্রীডা কত যুগ গেল তিলার্ধেক-হেন সব গোপিকা মানিল ॥ ২৭৯ ॥

येन महा-रास-क्रीडा कत युग गेल तिलार्धेक-हेन सब गोपिका मानिल ॥ २७९ ॥

yena mahā-rāsa-krīḍā kata yuga gela tilārdheka-hena saba gopikā mānila || 279 ||

yena maha-rasa-krida kata yuga gela tilardheka-hena saba gopika manila (279)

English translation:

(279) While a number of yugas passed during the rāsa-līlā pastime, the

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

gopīs thought that only a moment had passed.

In this regard one should discuss Śrīla Cakravartī Ṭhākura’s Sārārtha- darśinī commentary on Śrīmad Bhāgavatam (10.29.1 and 10.33.38).
