The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.257, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 257 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.257:

কেহ বলে,—“কোন্ কার্য পরেরে চর্চিযাচল সবে ঘর যাই, কি কার্য দেখিযা” ॥ ২৫৭ ॥

केह बले,—“कोन् कार्य परेरे चर्चियाचल सबे घर याइ, कि कार्य देखिया” ॥ २५७ ॥

keha bale,—“kon kārya parere carciyācala sabe ghara yāi, ki kārya dekhiyā” || 257 ||

keha bale,—“kon karya parere carciyacala sabe ghara yai, ki karya dekhiya” (257)

English translation:

(257) Someone else said, “What is the use of criticizing others? Let us go home. What is the use of watching?”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Someone said, “There is no benefit in discussing topics about others. Let us go and perform our own duties.”
