The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.254, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 254 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.254:

পরম সুবুদ্ধি ছিল নিমাই পণ্ডিত এ গুলার সঙ্গে তার হেন হৈল চিত” ॥ ২৫৪ ॥

परम सुबुद्धि छिल निमाइ पण्डित ए गुलार सङ्गे तार हेन हैल चित” ॥ २५४ ॥

parama subuddhi chila nimāi paṇḍita e gulāra saṅge tāra hena haila cita” || 254 ||

parama subuddhi chila nimai pandita e gulara sange tara hena haila cita” (254)

English translation:

(254) “Previously Nimāi Paṇḍita was most intelligent. Now, by the association of these fellows, His mind has changed.”
