The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.235, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 235 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

কেহ বলে,—“সত্য সত্য এই সে উত্তর নহিলে কেমনে ডাকে এ অষ্ট প্রহর” ॥ ২৩৫ ॥
केह बले,—“सत्य सत्य एइ से उत्तर नहिले केमने डाके ए अष्ट प्रहर” ॥ २३५ ॥
keha bale,—“satya satya ei se uttara nahile kemane ḍāke e aṣṭa prahara” || 235 ||
keha bale,—“satya satya ei se uttara nahile kemane dake e asta prahara” (235)
English translation:
(235) Someone else said, “That is the truth, otherwise why would they cry out for twenty-four hours?”
