The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.228, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 228 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.228:

পূর্বে যেই সান্ধাইল বাডীর ভিতরে সেই-মাত্র দেখে অন্যে প্রবেশিতে নারে ॥ ২২৮ ॥

पूर्वे येइ सान्धाइल बाडीर भितरे सेइ-मात्र देखे अन्ये प्रवेशिते नारे ॥ २२८ ॥

pūrve yei sāndhāila bāḍīra bhitare sei-mātra dekhe anye praveśite nāre || 228 ||

purve yei sandhaila badira bhitare sei-matra dekhe anye pravesite nare (228)

English translation:

(228) Only those who had previously entered the house of Śrīvāsa were allowed to see those pastimes.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

There was such a crowd watching the Lord’s dancing that no one other than those who had previously entered Śrīvāsa’s courtyard were allowed in.
