The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.184, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 184 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.184:

পূর্বে যে বৈষ্ণব দেখি’ `প্রভু’ করি’ বলে “এ বেটা আমার দাস”, ধরে তার চুলে ॥ ১৮৪ ॥

पूर्वे ये वैष्णव देखि’ `प्रभु’ करि’ बले “ए बेटा आमार दास”, धरे तार चुले ॥ १८४ ॥

pūrve ye vaiṣṇava dekhi’ `prabhu’ kari’ bale “e beṭā āmāra dāsa”, dhare tāra cule || 184 ||

purve ye vaisnava dekhi’ `prabhu’ kari’ bale “e beta amara dasa”, dhare tara cule (184)

English translation:

(184) Previously, whenever the Lord saw a Vaiṣṇava He addressed him as “Prabhu,” but now He would grab them by the hair and announce, “This fellow is My servant.”
