The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.161, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 161 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

ক্ষণে যায সবার চরণ ধরিবারে পলায বৈষ্ণব-গণ চারি-দিকে ডরে ॥ ১৬১ ॥

क्षणे याय सबार चरण धरिबारे पलाय वैष्णव-गण चारि-दिके डरे ॥ १६१ ॥

kṣaṇe yāya sabāra caraṇa dharibāre palāya vaiṣṇava-gaṇa cāri-dike ḍare || 161 ||

ksane yaya sabara carana dharibare palaya vaisnava-gana cari-dike dare (161)

English translation:

(161) Sometimes He tried to catch everyone’s feet, and the Vaiṣṇavas ran away out of fear.
