The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.107, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 107 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.107:

আজি হৈতে নিরবন্ধিত করহ সকল নিশায করিব সবে কীর্তন-মঙ্গল ॥ ১০৭ ॥

आजि हैते निरबन्धित करह सकल निशाय करिब सबे कीर्तन-मङ्गल ॥ १०७ ॥

āji haite nirabandhita karaha sakala niśāya kariba sabe kīrtana-maṅgala || 107 ||

aji haite nirabandhita karaha sakala nisaya kariba sabe kirtana-mangala (107)

English translation:

(107) “Make a resolution that from today on we will congregationally chant the holy names at night.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word nirbandhita means “firm resolution.” “All of you firmly resolve that from today we will every night perform an auspicious festival of kīrtana.”

It was resolved that they would every night without fail chant the sixteen holy names consisting of thirty-two syllables.
