The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.97, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 97 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

আইল করিতে ভিক্ষা প্রভুর মন্দিরে গাহযে শিবের গীত, বেডি’ নৃত্য করে ॥ ৯৭ ॥

आइल करिते भिक्षा प्रभुर मन्दिरे गाहये शिवेर गीत, वेडि’ नृत्य करे ॥ ९७ ॥

āila karite bhikṣā prabhura mandire gāhaye śivera gīta, veḍi’ nṛtya kare || 97 ||

aila karite bhiksa prabhura mandire gahaye sivera gita, vedi’ nrtya kare (97)

English translation:

(97) He came to the Lord’s doorstep for begging alms and began to dance in a circle while singing a song about Lord Śiva.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

He danced in a circle and sang a song glorifying Śiva.
