The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.48, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 48 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.48:

মুঞি দেখোঙ্ বারে বারে নৈবেদ্যের সাজে আধা-আধি না থাকে, না কহোঙ্ কারে লাজে ॥ ৪৮ ॥

मुञि देखोङ् बारे बारे नैवेद्येर साजे आधा-आधि ना थाके, ना कहोङ् कारे लाजे ॥ ४८ ॥

muñi dekhoṅ bāre bāre naivedyera sāje ādhā-ādhi nā thāke, nā kahoṅ kāre lāje || 48 ||

muni dekhon bare bare naivedyera saje adha-adhi na thake, na kahon kare laje (48)

English translation:

(48) “I often see that half of the foods that I offer vanish. Feeling shy, I don’t tell anyone about this.
