The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.44, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 44 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.44:

এতেক বলিতে মুঞি চেতন পাইলুঙ্কিছু না বুঝিলুঙ্ মুঞি, তোমারে কহিলুঙ্ ॥ ৪৪ ॥

एतेक बलिते मुञि चेतन पाइलुङ्किछु ना बुझिलुङ् मुञि, तोमारे कहिलुङ् ॥ ४४ ॥

eteka balite muñi cetana pāiluṅkichu nā bujhiluṅ muñi, tomāre kahiluṅ || 44 ||

eteka balite muni cetana pailunkichu na bujhilun muni, tomare kahilun (44)

English translation:

(44) “When Nityānanda said this to me, I woke up. But I could not understand anything, so I am relating this to You.”
