The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.8.43, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 43 of Madhya-khanda chapter 8—“The Manifestation of Opulences”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.8.43:

`জননী বলিযা নিত্যানন্দ ডাকে মোরে “অন্ন দেহ’ মাতা, মোরে ক্ষুধা বড করে” ॥ ৪৩ ॥

`जननी बलिया नित्यानन्द डाके मोरे “अन्न देह’ माता, मोरे क्षुधा बड करे” ॥ ४३ ॥

`jananī baliyā nityānanda ḍāke more “anna deha’ mātā, more kṣudhā baḍa kare” || 43 ||

`janani baliya nityananda dake more “anna deha’ mata, more ksudha bada kare” (43)

English translation:

(43) “Then Nityānanda called me and said, `O mother, please give Me some rice. I am hungry.’
