The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.7.140, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 140 of Madhya-khanda chapter 7—“The Meeting of Gadadhara and Pundarika”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.7.140:

“ইঙ্হার পদবী ‘পুণ্ডরীক বিদ্যানিধি’ প্রেম-ভক্তি বিলাইতে গডিলেন বিধি” ॥ ১৪০ ॥

“इङ्हार पदवी ‘पुण्डरीक विद्यानिधि’ प्रेम-भक्ति बिलाइते गडिलेन विधि” ॥ १४० ॥

“iṅhāra padavī ‘puṇḍarīka vidyānidhi’ prema-bhakti bilāite gaḍilena vidhi” || 140 ||

“inhara padavi ‘pundarika vidyanidhi’ prema-bhakti bilaite gadilena vidhi” (140)

English translation:

(140) “His name is Puṇḍarīka Vidyānidhi. Providence has created him to distribute loving devotional service.”
