The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.7.26, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 26 of Madhya-khanda chapter 7—“The Meeting of Gadadhara and Pundarika”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.7.26:

গঙ্গায যে-সব লোক করে অনাচর কুল্লোল, দন্ত-ধাবন, কেশ-সংস্কার ॥ ২৬ ॥

गङ्गाय ये-सब लोक करे अनाचर कुल्लोल, दन्त-धावन, केश-संस्कार ॥ २६ ॥

gaṅgāya ye-saba loka kare anācara kullola, danta-dhāvana, keśa-saṃskāra || 26 ||

gangaya ye-saba loka kare anacara kullola, danta-dhavana, kesa-samskara (26)

English translation:

(26) “Many people disrespect the Ganges by rinsing their mouths, brushing their teeth, and washing their hair in her waters.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word kullola means “rinsing the mouth.”
