The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.5.75, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 75 of Madhya-khanda chapter 5—“Lord Nityananda’s Vyasa-puja Ceremony and His Darshana of the Lord’s Six-armed Form”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.5.75:

কুম্ভীর দেখিযা তারে ধরিবারে যায গদাধর শ্রীনিবাস করে ‘হায হায’ ॥ ৭৫ ॥

कुम्भीर देखिया तारे धरिबारे याय गदाधर श्रीनिवास करे ‘हाय हाय’ ॥ ७५ ॥

kumbhīra dekhiyā tāre dharibāre yāya gadādhara śrīnivāsa kare ‘hāya hāya’ || 75 ||

kumbhira dekhiya tare dharibare yaya gadadhara srinivasa kare ‘haya haya’ (75)

English translation:

(75) When Nityānanda saw a crocodile, He attempted to catch it. Gadādhara and Śrīnivāsa exclaimed, “Alas, alas!”
