The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.4.45, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 45 of Madhya-khanda chapter 4—“Revelation of Nityananda’s Glories”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.4.45:

প্রভু বলে,—“জিজ্ঞাসা করিতে করি ভয কোন্ দিক হৈতে শুভ করিলে বিজয?” ॥ ৪৫ ॥

प्रभु बले,—“जिज्ञासा करिते करि भय कोन् दिक हैते शुभ करिले विजय?” ॥ ४५ ॥

prabhu bale,—“jijñāsā karite kari bhaya kon dika haite śubha karile vijaya?” || 45 ||

prabhu bale,—“jijnasa karite kari bhaya kon dika haite subha karile vijaya?” (45)

English translation:

(45) The Lord said, “I am afraid to ask, but from which direction have You come?

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Mahāprabhu asked Nityānanda Prabhu, “Śrīpāda, from where have You made Your auspicious arrival?”
