The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.3.178, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 178 of Madhya-khanda chapter 3—“The Lord Manifests His Varaha Form in the House of Murari and Meets with Nityananda”.

অলক্ষিত-আবেশ বুঝন নাহি যায ধ্যান-সুখে পরিপূর্ণ হাসযে সদায ॥ ১৭৮ ॥

अलक्षित-आवेश बुझन नाहि याय ध्यान-सुखे परिपूर्ण हासये सदाय ॥ १७८ ॥

alakṣita-āveśa bujhana nāhi yāya dhyāna-sukhe paripūrṇa hāsaye sadāya || 178 ||

alaksita-avesa bujhana nahi yaya dhyana-sukhe paripurna hasaye sadaya (178)

English translation:

(178) No one could understand His internal mood. His was absorbed in happiness from His meditation and continually smiled.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Unless one sees Nityānanda Prabhu with service-inclined eyes, one will never understand His mood. Externally He was constantly smiling, and internally He was always absorbed in the happiness of Śrī Caitanya’s service.
