The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.3.90, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 90 of Madhya-khanda chapter 3—“The Lord Manifests His Varaha Form in the House of Murari and Meets with Nityananda”.

সেই ত’ বৃত্তান্ত আজি হৈল আমারে এ-ধর্ম-সঙ্কটে কৃষ্ণ! রক্ষা কর’ মোরে” দৈবে সে-ই বস্তু, কেনে নহিব সে মতি? অন্যথা লক্ষ্মণ কেনে গৃহেতে উত্পত্তি? ॥ ৯০-০৯১ ॥

सेइ त’ वृत्तान्त आजि हैल आमारे ए-धर्म-सङ्कटे कृष्ण! रक्षा कर’ मोरे” दैवे से-इ वस्तु, केने नहिब से मति? अन्यथा लक्ष्मण केने गृहेते उत्पत्ति? ॥ ९०-०९१ ॥

sei ta’ vṛttānta āji haila āmāre e-dharma-saṅkaṭe kṛṣṇa! rakṣā kara’ more” daive se-i vastu, kene nahiba se mati? anyathā lakṣmaṇa kene gṛhete utpatti? || 90-091 ||

sei ta’ vrttanta aji haila amare e-dharma-sankate krsna! raksa kara’ more” daive se-i vastu, kene nahiba se mati? anyatha laksmana kene grhete utpatti? (90-091)

(90-091) “The same thing has happened to me today. O Kṛṣṇa, please save me from this dilemma.” By providence, it was the same situation, so why the mentality would not be the same? Otherwise why would

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Lakṣmaṇa appear in his house?

“O Kṛṣṇa, in this great predicament please protect me from my wavering mentality, because I am in the same situation as Daśaratha was. By providence, I am that Daśaratha and my son is Rāma. Otherwise, why has my son developed such a mentality? If this was not true, then why have the symptoms of renunciation manifest in my son?”
