The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.3.58, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 58 of Madhya-khanda chapter 3—“The Lord Manifests His Varaha Form in the House of Murari and Meets with Nityananda”.

মিলিলা সকল ভক্ত, বৈ নিত্যানন্দ ভাই না দেখিযা বড দুঃখী গৌরচন্দ্র ॥ ৫৮ ॥

मिलिला सकल भक्त, बै नित्यानन्द भाइ ना देखिया बड दुःखी गौरचन्द्र ॥ ५८ ॥

mililā sakala bhakta, bai nityānanda bhāi nā dekhiyā baḍa duḥkhī gauracandra || 58 ||

milila sakala bhakta, bai nityananda bhai na dekhiya bada duhkhi gauracandra (58)

English translation:

(58) All the devotees assembled together, except Nityānanda. Gauracandra became unhappy on not seeing His brother.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

When Gaurasundara saw that all the devotees participated in the blissful kīrtana pastimes except Nityānanda, He became especially unhappy in separation from Nityānanda.
