The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.269, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 269 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.269:

সহজে পণ্ডিত বড মহা-ভাগবত আজ্ঞা পাই’ স্তুতি করে যেন অভিমত ॥ ২৬৯ ॥

सहजे पण्डित बड महा-भागवत आज्ञा पाइ’ स्तुति करे येन अभिमत ॥ २६९ ॥

sahaje paṇḍita baḍa mahā-bhāgavata ājñā pāi’ stuti kare yena abhimata || 269 ||

sahaje pandita bada maha-bhagavata ajna pai’ stuti kare yena abhimata (269)

English translation:

(269) Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita was a natural scholar and a mahā-bhāgavata. Having been ordered by the Lord, he offered heart-felt prayers.
