The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.252, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 252 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.252:

নির্ভযে চাহেন চারি-দিকে বিশ্বম্ভর গঙ্গার সুন্দর স্রোত পুলিন সুন্দর ॥ ২৫২ ॥

निर्भये चाहेन चारि-दिके विश्वम्भर गङ्गार सुन्दर स्रोत पुलिन सुन्दर ॥ २५२ ॥

nirbhaye cāhena cāri-dike viśvambhara gaṅgāra sundara srota pulina sundara || 252 ||

nirbhaye cahena cari-dike visvambhara gangara sundara srota pulina sundara (252)

English translation:

(252) Viśvambhara fearlessly looked around and saw before Him the beautiful flowing Ganges and its charming banks.
