The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.244, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 244 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.244:

প্রভু অবতীর্ণ,—নাহি জানে ভক্ত-গণ জানাইতে আরম্ভিলা শ্রী-শচীনন্দন ॥ ২৪৪ ॥

प्रभु अवतीर्ण,—नाहि जाने भक्त-गण जानाइते आरम्भिला श्री-शचीनन्दन ॥ २४४ ॥

prabhu avatīrṇa,—nāhi jāne bhakta-gaṇa jānāite ārambhilā śrī-śacīnandana || 244 ||

prabhu avatirna,—nahi jane bhakta-gana janaite arambhila sri-sacinandana (244)

English translation:

(244) The devotees did not know that the Lord had personally appeared, therefore the son of Śacī began to reveal Himself.
