The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.237, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 237 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.237:

তখনে না কৈলে ইহা পরিহাস-জ্ঞানে সর্ব-নাশ হয এবে দেখ বিদ্যমানে” ॥ ২৩৭ ॥

तखने ना कैले इहा परिहास-ज्ञाने सर्व-नाश हय एबे देख विद्यमाने” ॥ २३७ ॥

takhane nā kaile ihā parihāsa-jñāne sarva-nāśa haya ebe dekha vidyamāne” || 237 ||

takhane na kaile iha parihasa-jnane sarva-nasa haya ebe dekha vidyamane” (237)

English translation:

(237) “You took it as a joke and did not pay any attention. But now see how we will be destroyed.”
