The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.203, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 203 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.203:

গদাধরে দেখি’ প্রভু করেন জিজ্ঞাসা“কোথা কৃষ্ণ আছেন শ্যামল পীত-বাসা?” ॥ ২০৩ ॥

गदाधरे देखि’ प्रभु करेन जिज्ञासा“कोथा कृष्ण आछेन श्यामल पीत-वासा?” ॥ २०३ ॥

gadādhare dekhi’ prabhu karena jijñāsā“kothā kṛṣṇa āchena śyāmala pīta-vāsā?” || 203 ||

gadadhare dekhi’ prabhu karena jijnasa“kotha krsna achena syamala pita-vasa?” (203)

English translation:

(203) On seeing Gadādhara, the Lord asked, “Where is that blackish Kṛṣṇa, who is dressed in yellow cloth?”
