The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.139, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 139 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.139:

পাখালিলা দুই পদ নযনের জলে যোড-হস্ত করি’ দাণ্ডাইলা পদ-তলে ॥ ১৩৯ ॥

पाखालिला दुइ पद नयनेर जले योड-हस्त करि’ दाण्डाइला पद-तले ॥ १३९ ॥

pākhālilā dui pada nayanera jale yoḍa-hasta kari’ dāṇḍāilā pada-tale || 139 ||

pakhalila dui pada nayanera jale yoda-hasta kari’ dandaila pada-tale (139)

English translation:

(139) He washed the Lord’s two lotus feet with His tears and stood by the Lord’s feet with folded hands.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word pākhālilā (derived from the word pākhālana, which is derived from prakṣālana, which again is derived from pra + the Sanskrit root kṣal, or derived from the Hindi word pākhālnā) means “to wash” or “to rinse.”
