The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.116, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 116 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.116:

“সভে বলে,—`বাযু’, সবে আশংসিলা তুমি আজি বড কৃত-কৃত্য হৈলাঙ আমি ॥ ১১৬ ॥

“सभे बले,—`वायु’, सबे आशंसिला तुमि आजि बड कृत-कृत्य हैलाङ आमि ॥ ११६ ॥

“sabhe bale,—`vāyu’, sabe āśaṃsilā tumi āji baḍa kṛta-kṛtya hailāṅa āmi || 116 ||

“sabhe bale,—`vayu’, sabe asamsila tumi aji bada krta-krtya hailana ami (116)

English translation:

(116) “Everyone concluded that I was afflicted with madness, but you alone have concluded otherwise. Therefore today I am greatly obliged to you.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word āśaṃsilā means “you have consoled Me.”
