The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.102, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 102 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.102:

পাক-তৈল শিরে দিযা করাইবা স্নান যাবত্ প্রবল নাহি হৈবেক জ্ঞান” ॥ ১০২ ॥

पाक-तैल शिरे दिया कराइबा स्नान यावत् प्रबल नाहि हैबेक ज्ञान” ॥ १०२ ॥

pāka-taila śire diyā karāibā snāna yāvat prabala nāhi haibeka jñāna” || 102 ||

paka-taila sire diya karaiba snana yavat prabala nahi haibeka jnana” (102)

English translation:

(102) “Apply medicated oil on His head and then bathe Him. Continue in this way until the disease subsides.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word pāka-taila refers to medicated oils like viṣṇu-taila or

nārāyaṇa-taila. See Ādi-khaṇḍa, Chapter Twelve, verse 73.
