The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.21, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 21 of Madhya-khanda chapter 2—“The Lord’s Manifestation at the House of Shrivasa and the Inauguration of Sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.21:

ইহার অগ্রজ পূর্বে—’বিশ্বরূপ’-নাম আমার সঙ্গে আসি’ গীতা করিত ব্যাখ্যান ॥ ২১ ॥

इहार अग्रज पूर्वे—’विश्वरूप’-नाम आमार सङ्गे आसि’ गीता करित व्याख्यान ॥ २१ ॥

ihāra agraja pūrve—’viśvarūpa’-nāma āmāra saṅge āsi’ gītā karita vyākhyāna || 21 ||

ihara agraja purve—’visvarupa’-nama amara sange asi’ gita karita vyakhyana (21)

English translation:

(21) “His elder brother, Viśvarūpa, used to come and study Bhagavad-gītā
