The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.401, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 401 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.401:

পডাইলা নবদ্বীপে বৈকুণ্ঠের রায অদ্যাপিহ চিহ্ন আছে সর্ব-নদীযায ॥ ৪০১ ॥

पडाइला नवद्वीपे वैकुण्ठेर राय अद्यापिह चिह्न आछे सर्व-नदीयाय ॥ ४०१ ॥

paḍāilā navadvīpe vaikuṇṭhera rāya adyāpiha cihna āche sarva-nadīyāya || 401 ||

padaila navadvipe vaikunthera raya adyapiha cihna ache sarva-nadiyaya (401)

English translation:

(401) Evidence of the scholastic pastimes of the Lord of Vaikuṇṭha is still seen throughout Nadia.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word cihna refers to the place or abode where those scholastic

pastimes took place.
