The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.317, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 317 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.317:

গঙ্গা নমস্করি’ গঙ্গা-জল নিলাশিরে গোষ্ঠীর সহিত বসিলেন গঙ্গা-তীরে ॥ ৩১৭ ॥

गङ्गा नमस्करि’ गङ्गा-जल निलाशिरे गोष्ठीर सहित वसिलेन गङ्गा-तीरे ॥ ३१७ ॥

gaṅgā namaskari’ gaṅgā-jala nilāśire goṣṭhīra sahita vasilena gaṅgā-tīre || 317 ||

ganga namaskari’ ganga-jala nilasire gosthira sahita vasilena ganga-tire (317)

English translation:

(317) He offered obeisances to the Ganges and sprinkled water on His head. Then He sat down on the bank of the Ganges with His associates.
