The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.286, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 286 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.286:

বসিলা আসিযা নগরিযার দুযারে যাঙ্হার চরণ—লক্ষ্মী-হৃদয-উপরে ॥ ২৮৬ ॥

वसिला आसिया नगरियार दुयारे याङ्हार चरण—लक्ष्मी-हृदय-उपरे ॥ २८६ ॥

vasilā āsiyā nagariyāra duyāre yāṅhāra caraṇa—lakṣmī-hṛdaya-upare || 286 ||

vasila asiya nagariyara duyare yanhara carana—laksmi-hrdaya-upare (286)

English translation:

(286) He whose lotus feet are kept on the heart of Lakṣmī came and sat at the doorstep of a local resident’s house.
