The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.283, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 283 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.283:

গঙ্গাদাস-পণ্ডিত-চরণে নমস্কার বেদ-পতি সরস্বতী-পতি—শিষ্য যাঙ্র ॥ ২৮৩ ॥

गङ्गादास-पण्डित-चरणे नमस्कार वेद-पति सरस्वती-पति—शिष्य याङ्र ॥ २८३ ॥

gaṅgādāsa-paṇḍita-caraṇe namaskāra veda-pati sarasvatī-pati—śiṣya yāṅra || 283 ||

gangadasa-pandita-carane namaskara veda-pati sarasvati-pati—sisya yanra (283)

English translation:

(283) I offer my humble obeisances at the feet of Gaṅgādāsa Paṇḍita, whose disciple is Lord of the Vedas and master of the goddess of learning.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

For a description of the phrase veda-pati sarasvatī-pati, one should refer to the statements of Lord Kṛṣṇa to Uddhava found in the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam (11.21.26-43).
