The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.278, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 278 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

ভাল-মতে গিযাশাস্ত্র বসিযা পডাও ব্যতিরিক্ত অর্থ কর’,—মোর মাথা খাও” ॥ ২৭৮ ॥
भाल-मते गियाशास्त्र वसिया पडाओ व्यतिरिक्त अर्थ कर’,—मोर माथा खाओ” ॥ २७८ ॥
bhāla-mate giyāśāstra vasiyā paḍāo vyatirikta artha kara’,—mora māthā khāo” || 278 ||
bhala-mate giyasastra vasiya padao vyatirikta artha kara’,—mora matha khao” (278)
English translation:
(278) “Go now, but promise me that You will teach the scriptures properly without any different meanings.”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word vyatirikta means “opposite,” “contradictory,” “independent,” “separate,” or “different.”
The words māthā khāo refers to the imposition of a vow on someone or the criteria for one’s ruination.
