The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.1.25, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 25 of Madhya-khanda chapter 1—“The Beginning of the Lord’s Manifestation and His Instructions on Krishna-sankirtana”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.1.25:

সহস্র সহস্র বিপ্র পডে বেদ-ধ্বনি ‘দেখ দেখ বিষ্ণু পাদোদক তীর্থ-খানি’ ॥ ২৫ ॥

सहस्र सहस्र विप्र पडे वेद-ध्वनि ‘देख देख विष्णु पादोदक तीर्थ-खानि’ ॥ २५ ॥

sahasra sahasra vipra paḍe veda-dhvani ‘dekha dekha viṣṇu pādodaka tīrtha-khāni’ || 25 ||

(25) “Thousands and thousands of brāhmaṇas were reciting prayers from
