The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.17.84, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 84 of Adi-khanda chapter 17—“The Lord’s Travel to Gaya”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.17.84:

হাসিযা বলেন পুরী,—“শুনহ, পণ্ডিত! ভালৈ সমযে হৈলাঙ উপনীত” ॥ ৮৪ ॥

हासिया बलेन पुरी,—“शुनह, पण्डित! भालै समये हैलाङ उपनीत” ॥ ८४ ॥

hāsiyā balena purī,—“śunaha, paṇḍita! bhālai samaye hailāṅa upanīta” || 84 ||

hasiya balena puri,—“sunaha, pandita! bhalai samaye hailana upanita” (84)

English translation:

(84) Īśvara Purī smiled and said, “Listen, O Paṇḍita. I see I’ve come at the right time.”
