The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.281, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 281 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

জপিলে শ্রী-কৃষ্ণ-নাম আপনে সে তরে উচ্চ-সঙ্কীর্তনে পর উপকার করে ॥ ২৮১ ॥
जपिले श्री-कृष्ण-नाम आपने से तरे उच्च-सङ्कीर्तने पर उपकार करे ॥ २८१ ॥
japile śrī-kṛṣṇa-nāma āpane se tare ucca-saṅkīrtane para upakāra kare || 281 ||
japile sri-krsna-nama apane se tare ucca-sankirtane para upakara kare (281)
English translation:
(281) “If one silently chants the names of Kṛṣṇa, then he is delivered; but if one loudly chants, then he delivers others also.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
One who softly chants the transcendental names benefits only himself, whereas one who loudly and congregationally chants the transcendental names can benefit the audience along with himself. Only a spiritual master who is engaged in kṛṣṇa-kīrtana is compassionate to all living entities and able to perform the highest welfare activities for all.
