The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.275, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 275 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.16.275:

বিপ্র বলে,—“উচ্চ-নাম করিলে উচ্চার শত-গুণ পুণ্য-ফল হয, কি হেতু ইহার?” ॥ ২৭৫ ॥

विप्र बले,—“उच्च-नाम करिले उच्चार शत-गुण पुण्य-फल हय, कि हेतु इहार?” ॥ २७५ ॥

vipra bale,—“ucca-nāma karile uccāra śata-guṇa puṇya-phala haya, ki hetu ihāra?” || 275 ||

vipra bale,—“ucca-nama karile uccara sata-guna punya-phala haya, ki hetu ihara?” (275)

English translation:

(275) The brāhmaṇa said, “How does one get one hundred times more benefit by loud chanting?”
