The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.258, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 258 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

গোসাঞির শযন বরিষা চারি-মাস ইহাতে কি যুযায ডাকিতে বড ডাক? ॥ ২৫৮ ॥
गोसाञिर शयन वरिषा चारि-मास इहाते कि युयाय डाकिते बड डाक? ॥ २५८ ॥
gosāñira śayana variṣā cāri-māsa ihāte ki yuyāya ḍākite baḍa ḍāka? || 258 ||
gosanira sayana varisa cari-masa ihate ki yuyaya dakite bada daka? (258)
English translation:
(258) “The Lord takes rest for four months during the rainy season, but these brāhmaṇas loudly call Him even at that time. Is this proper?
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The atheistic smārtas who were attached to fruitive activities used to say, “Lord Viṣṇu takes rest during the four months of Cāturmāsya, therefore no one should chant the names of Kṛṣṇa during these four months—Śrāvaṇa, Bhadra, Āśvina, and Kārttika. If one chants the names of Kṛṣṇa during this period, it will disturb the Lord by interrupting His yoga-nidrā. Therefore if the Vaiṣṇavas transgress the scriptural injunctions by loudly chanting the names of Hari during His sleep, the Lord will certainly become very angry and send various tribulations such as famine.”
