The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.107, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 107 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

তথাপিহ দযা নাহি জন্মে পাপি-গণে বাজারে-বাজারে মারে মহা-ক্রোধ-মনে ॥ ১০৭ ॥

तथापिह दया नाहि जन्मे पापि-गणे बाजारे-बाजारे मारे महा-क्रोध-मने ॥ १०७ ॥

tathāpiha dayā nāhi janme pāpi-gaṇe bājāre-bājāre māre mahā-krodha-mane || 107 ||

tathapiha daya nahi janme papi-gane bajare-bajare mare maha-krodha-mane (107)

English translation:

(107) Nevertheless the sinful guards showed no mercy, and they continued angrily beating Haridāsa from market to market.
