The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.101, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 101 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

বাজারে-বাজারে সব বেডি’ দুষ্ট-গণে মারে সে নির্জীব করি’ মহা-ক্রোধ-মনে ॥ ১০১ ॥

बाजारे-बाजारे सब बेडि’ दुष्ट-गणे मारे से निर्जीव करि’ महा-क्रोध-मने ॥ १०१ ॥

bājāre-bājāre saba beḍi’ duṣṭa-gaṇe māre se nirjīva kari’ mahā-krodha-mane || 101 ||

bajare-bajare saba bedi’ dusta-gane mare se nirjiva kari’ maha-krodha-mane (101)

English translation:

(101) The miscreant guards thereafter took Haridāsa from market to market and mercilessly beat him.
