The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.84, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 84 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

হিন্দু বা কি করে তা’রে, যার যেই কর্ম আপনে যে মৈল, তা’রে মারিযা কি ধর্ম ॥ ৮৪ ॥
हिन्दु वा कि करे ता’रे, यार येइ कर्म आपने ये मैल, ता’रे मारिया कि धर्म ॥ ८४ ॥
hindu vā ki kare tā’re, yāra yei karma āpane ye maila, tā’re māriyā ki dharma || 84 ||
hindu va ki kare ta’re, yara yei karma apane ye maila, ta’re mariya ki dharma (84)
English translation:
(84) “What can the Hindus do? That is his karma. If one is already dead, then what is the use of killing him?
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The living entities achieve appropriate punishment or reward for the activities they perform under the influence of their respective tastes, therefore there is no need for their separate punishment. It is stated: svakarma-phala-bhuk pumān—“Every human being enjoys the fruits of his karma.”
