The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.16.1, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 1 of Adi-khanda chapter 16—“The Glories of Shri Haridasa Thakura”.

জয জয দীন-বন্ধু শ্রী-গৌরসুন্দর জয জয লক্ষ্মী-কান্ত সবার ঈশ্বর ॥ ১ ॥

जय जय दीन-बन्धु श्री-गौरसुन्दर जय जय लक्ष्मी-कान्त सबार ईश्वर ॥ १ ॥

jaya jaya dīna-bandhu śrī-gaurasundara jaya jaya lakṣmī-kānta sabāra īśvara || 1 ||

jaya jaya dina-bandhu sri-gaurasundara jaya jaya laksmi-kanta sabara isvara (1)

English translation:

(1) All glories to Śrī Gaurasundara, the friend of the poor. All glories to

the Supreme Lord, the beloved of Lakṣmī.
