The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.15.146, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 146 of Adi-khanda chapter 15—“Marriage with Shri Vishnupriya”.

নানা-বর্ণে পতাকা চলিল তা’র পাছে বিদূষক-সকল চলিলা নানা-কাচে ॥ ১৪৬ ॥
नाना-वर्णे पताका चलिल ता’र पाछे विदूषक-सकल चलिला नाना-काचे ॥ १४६ ॥
nānā-varṇe patākā calila tā’ra pāche vidūṣaka-sakala calilā nānā-kāce || 146 ||
nana-varne pataka calila ta’ra pache vidusaka-sakala calila nana-kace (146)
English translation:
(146) They in turn were followed by people carrying various colored flags. Next came a group of jesters, who dressed in various costumes.

The word vidūṣaka refers to a joker, a flatterer, or one who makes caricatures.
