The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.15.128, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 128 of Adi-khanda chapter 15—“Marriage with Shri Vishnupriya”.

অর্ধ-চন্দ্রাকৃতি করি’ ললাটে চন্দন তথি-মধ্যে গন্ধের তিলক সুশোভন ॥ ১২৮ ॥

अर्ध-चन्द्राकृति करि’ ललाटे चन्दन तथि-मध्ये गन्धेर तिलक सुशोभन ॥ १२८ ॥

ardha-candrākṛti kari’ lalāṭe candana tathi-madhye gandhera tilaka suśobhana || 128 ||

English translation:

(128) His forehead was smeared with sandalwood paste in the shape of a half-moon, and an enchanting tilaka mark was drawn through it with

aguru.
