The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.15.19, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 19 of Adi-khanda chapter 15—“Marriage with Shri Vishnupriya”.

ক্রোধে শ্রীহট্টিযা-গণ বলে,—“অয অয তুমি কোন্-দেশী, তাহা কহ ত’ নিশ্চয? ॥ ১৯ ॥
क्रोधे श्रीहट्टिया-गण बले,—“अय अय तुमि कोन्-देशी, ताहा कह त’ निश्चय? ॥ १९ ॥
krodhe śrīhaṭṭiyā-gaṇa bale,—“aya aya tumi kon-deśī, tāhā kaha ta’ niścaya? || 19 ||
krodhe srihattiya-gana bale,—“aya aya tumi kon-desi, taha kaha ta’ niscaya? (19)
English translation:
(19) In anger, they responded, “Aya! Where are You from? Tell us the truth.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Being angered by the Lord’s mockery, the residents of Śrīhaṭṭa asked Him about His forefathers’ native place, and they controlled their anger by claiming with certainty that the Lord was a recent descendant of Śrīhaṭṭa inhabitants. The words “Haya, haya,” of Gauḍa-deśa are mistakenly pronounced “Aya, aya,” by the residents of Śrīhaṭṭa. That is why as soon as the Lord began to make fun of and tease their pronunciation, they became angry.
