The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.14.168, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 168 of Adi-khanda chapter 14—“The Lord’s Travel to East Bengal and the Disappearance of Lakshmipriya”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.14.168:

দুঃখ-রস হৈবেক জানি’ আপ্ত-গণ লক্ষ্মীর বিজয কেহ না করে কথন ॥ ১৬৮ ॥

दुःख-रस हैबेक जानि’ आप्त-गण लक्ष्मीर विजय केह ना करे कथन ॥ १६८ ॥

duḥkha-rasa haibeka jāni’ āpta-gaṇa lakṣmīra vijaya keha nā kare kathana || 168 ||

duhkha-rasa haibeka jani’ apta-gana laksmira vijaya keha na kare kathana (168)

English translation:

(168) Knowing that the Lord would feel distressed, His relatives did not disclose to Him about the disappearance of Lakṣmī.
