The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.14.6, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 6 of Adi-khanda chapter 14—“The Lord’s Travel to East Bengal and the Disappearance of Lakshmipriya”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 1.14.6:

সর্ব-নবদ্বীপে প্রতি-নগরে-নগরে শিষ্য-গণ-সঙ্গে বিদ্যা-রসে ক্রীডা করে ॥ ৬ ॥

सर्व-नवद्वीपे प्रति-नगरे-नगरे शिष्य-गण-सङ्गे विद्या-रसे क्रीडा करे ॥ ६ ॥

sarva-navadvīpe prati-nagare-nagare śiṣya-gaṇa-saṅge vidyā-rase krīḍā kare || 6 ||

sarva-navadvipe prati-nagare-nagare sisya-gana-sange vidya-rase krida kare (6)

English translation:

(6) The Lord enjoyed scholastic pastimes with His students throughout all the villages of Navadvīpa.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The various villages and islands of Navadvīpa at that time were known as nagaras, such as Gaṅgānagara, Kājīra-nagara, Kuliyā-nagara, Vidyānagara, and Jānnagara.
