The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.13.55, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 55 of Adi-khanda chapter 13—“Defeating Digvijayi”.

সভা-মধ্যে জয যদি করিযে ইহারে মৃত-তুল্য হৈবেক সংসার-ভিতরে ॥ ৫৫ ॥

सभा-मध्ये जय यदि करिये इहारे मृत-तुल्य हैबेक संसार-भितरे ॥ ५५ ॥

sabhā-madhye jaya yadi kariye ihāre mṛta-tulya haibeka saṃsāra-bhitare || 55 ||

sabha-madhye jaya yadi kariye ihare mrta-tulya haibeka samsara-bhitare (55)

English translation:

(55) “If I defeat him in an assembly, it would be equal to death for him.
