The Chaitanya Bhagavata 1.12.248, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 248 of Adi-khanda chapter 12—“The Lord’s Wandering Throughout Navadvipa”.

তা’নে দেখি’ প্রভু করিলেন নমস্কার “চিরজীবী হও” বোলে শ্রীবাস উদার ॥ ২৪৮ ॥
ता’ने देखि’ प्रभु करिलेन नमस्कार “चिरजीवी हओ” बोले श्रीवास उदार ॥ २४८ ॥
tā’ne dekhi’ prabhu karilena namaskāra “cirajīvī hao” bole śrīvāsa udāra || 248 ||

English translation:
(248) Nimāi offered obeisances to Śrīvāsa, who blessed Nimāi by saying, “Live forever.”
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Sāndīpani Muni as the teacher of Kṛṣṇa, Garga Muni as the priest, Bhṛgu Muni as the examiner, and, in gaura-līlā, Brahmānanda Purī as a Godbrother of Īśvara Purī and Śrīvāsa Paṇḍita as a senior brāhmaṇa, all considered the Lord as an subordinate object of affection and care and thus acted as guardians of the Lord. But it should be understood that in the mood of awe and reverence, such behavior is harmful to the principles of service.
